When Mole forfeits his spring cleaning for the lure of the luscious riverbank, he has no idea of the thrilling journey that he and his friends are all about to embark on.
Featuring live music, songs and a talented company of actor-musicians, this charming and delightful adaptation by Toby Hulse of Kenneth Grahame’s classic story remains a firm family favourite and is sure to be a seasonal summer treat for audiences of all ages.
The Wind in the Willows, a funny, timeless tale of friendship, courage, consequences and bravery, will play in the performance tent on Derby Market Place, a light, airy space made to welcome you back to the city.
Performances will not be on-sale socially distanced, and seats may need to be re-allocated if full restrictions are not lifted from 21 June.

For events scheduled to take place up until the end of August, seating will be sold at a reduced capacity initially. You will be offered the best available seats for your party size. The seats offered will be 2 seats away from other customers and there will be a row between you in front and behind. If you have a specific seating requirement or access requirement please call the Sales and Information Centre on 01332 255800 to book your seats. Once we receive direction from the government that we are not required to be sat socially distanced all seats will be made available to be booked.
